I think William S. Borroughs is possibly the most beautiful old man I’ve ever seen. Hopefully I can do his portrait justice.
Finished and matted version of an earlier sketchbook, which is posted here somewhere. I’m quite happy with the turnout, and I am in love with the patterned-paper book we have in our art room. I use it constantly, and it’s pefect for matting.
Modeled after my friend Anna one calculus class. I’ve been obsessed with ageing people so you’ve got the second picture her as an old woman. I think she’s going to age beautifully.
Debating on whether ink it like Ema’s. Maybe I’ll do it bigger in another medium? No idea yet.
